What's NEW with FOTE?
Greetings!
Hail and Welcome!
Summer is definitely upon us! The warmth of the sun is definitely heating things up and we are rockin like hot tamales! We have been so busy these last few months it's been wonderfully incredible!
We seem to keep growing and growing, which is so delightful to see! We are currently in the works of establishing our first Chapter group up in the Sierra Mother Lode region of California. Our local membership and Yahoo Group membership keeps steadily climbing. Many thanks for your support and love! We definitely feel it! The FOTE Force is contagious and we are really achieving a lot of goals!
We are feeding the homeless in conjunction with Food Not Bombs once a month at a downtown Modesto park, and we are also helping to contribute to one of our member/director Rev. Cindy Clements new church, Ceres Community Outreach Church which is dedicated to helping the homeless and less fortunate of the Ceres and Modesto areas. We congratulate her on her efforts and her continued support of FOTE.
Since we are growing, we have been working on tightening up our operation as we finally have a really great Board of Directors in place who are energetic, creative and bring a lot of positive energy to the congregation and community. Our By Laws have been updated to more current needs and have been uploaded here for you to review. We have a really great core membership base that has been wonderful and instrumental in helping us to acheive our goals. Many thanks and blessings to all of your for all your hard work, dedication and support.
